API keys

Keys that let your tools, scripts, the CLI and AI agents use Stoaken as you.

What they’re for

An API key lets something other than your browser use Stoaken: the command-line tool in your build, a script, or an AI assistant like Claude. Each key acts as you, with exactly your access: it sees the Brands you see, with your role on each.

Creating and revoking

  1. Create a key with a name that says where it’s used, such as “CI” or “Claude Desktop”.
  2. Copy it straight away: it’s only shown once. Keep it somewhere safe, like your CI’s secrets.
  3. Revoke it from Your keys when it’s no longer needed, or if it may have leaked. It stops working at once.

Tip: One key per place makes it easy to revoke one without breaking the others.

How to use a key, with examples, is in the developer docs.
