Members
Invite people, choose what each person can do, and see who changed access. For Admins and Owners.
What it’s for
Members lists everyone in the workspace and the invitations still open. Admins and Owners use it to invite people, change their access and remove them. Other roles don’t see this page: ask an Admin if you need someone added.
It also holds the workspace’s own name and mark: Rename and Change mark beside the name at the top.
Roles, and what they cost
- Viewer
- Sees tokens, releases and comments. Free.
- Reviewer
- Approves routine releases and comments. Free.
- Editor
- Changes tokens and proposes releases. Uses a seat.
- Admin
- Everything an Editor can, plus breaking changes, exceptions, members and settings. Uses a seat.
- Owner
- Can do everything, including billing, handing the workspace over and deleting it.
Access can be for the whole workspace, or for certain Brands only, with a different role on each. Someone who only works on one product doesn’t need to see the rest.
Inviting people
- Invite people: type one email address, or paste a whole list (up to 50 at once).
- Choose their access: a role on the whole workspace, or roles on certain Brands.
- Send. Each person gets an email with a link that works for 14 days. They join when they accept it.
- Open invitations are listed above the people, until they’re accepted.
- Resend a fresh link sends a new email (the old link stops working). An expired invitation can be resent too.
- Revoke withdraws an invitation that hasn’t been used.
Letting colleagues join by email domain
Instead of inviting everyone, an Admin can let anyone who signs in with your company’s email address join the workspace, with a role you choose (Viewer, Reviewer or Editor). They see it on their Overview and join with one click.
Good to know: It only works for your own company domain, never for public email providers like Gmail. Turn it off any time; people who already joined stay.
Changing someone’s access
- Change access moves someone to another role, or to roles on certain Brands.
- Remove from workspace takes away all their access. Their comments and the releases they proposed stay.
- Make Owner (Owners only) hands ownership to someone else. You choose whether to stay an Owner too, or become an Admin.
Good to know: Some access can’t be changed here: an Owner’s, your own, and access that comes from the organization (marked Set by the organization). That keeps a workspace from losing its last Owner, or someone from locking themselves out.
Recent changes
Recent changes lists who changed whose access, removed someone, handed ownership over or declined an invitation, and when. The full record of everything that happens in the workspace is on Activity.
